Netflix Confirms One Piece Season 3 Ahead of Season 2 Release
Exhilarating news for ‘One Piece’ fans. There was a special even in Tokyo in which Netflix confirmed a third season. Ian Stokes will join as co-showrunner. One Piece has become one of the most popular shows. Both fans of the Manga and even new viewers have appreciated the show. This show has a very strong fan following.
Even before season two has premiered, ‘One Piece’ will be back for a third season. Season two will arrive in the year 2026. Ian Stokes worked as a co-executive producer in season one. Malt Owens left the project in March. A grand adventure awaits the audience.
What to Expect from Season 2’s High-Seas Adventure
In season 2, they are going to end things with the Drum Island Arc. The reason they are dropping the trailer now, that it’s One Piece Day in Japan, so it was in celebration of this day. They also opened a ‘One Piece’ Café in Los Angeles.
In Season 2, they start with the entrance to Reverse Mountain. Luffy wants to search for the One Piece on Grand Island. You will see some footage inside Loguetown.
You will see them travel to the Cactus Island from the Whisky Peak Arc. Whisky Peak is the first Arc after they hit Grand Line. Mr. Zero Crocodile is trying to destabilize and conquer the Arabasta Kingdom so that he can steal and acquire the ancient super weapon Pluton.
Joe Mianchinello is playing Mr. Zero. In the trailer, you see Luffy tips his cap, looking in the Loguetown at the giant construction. This is the place where Goldie Roger was executed. He can be seen citing his mission statement of finding one piece. When Nami feels the boat shaking, this is right before they meet the giant at the Little Garden.
Dory is another big giant. We get our first look at Nico Robbing as they first meet her. We also get our first look at Captain Smoker, who becomes a recurring villain to them. Loguetown is an important place in the ‘One Piece’ universe. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates face challenges as they head towards the Grand Line in search of the world’s greatest treasure.
