Veteran actor Sanjay Khan’s wife, Zarine Khan, mother of Sussanne and Zayed Khan, passed away at 81 due to age-related ailments on 7 November 2025. Before her marriage in 1966, she had a brief Bollywood stint with films like Tere Ghar Ke Saamne and Ek Phool Do Mali, later becoming a celebrated interior designer and author of the family cookbook Family Secret.

Sanjay Khan’s wife, Suzanne Khan’s mother, and Hritik Roshan’s ex-mother-in-law, Zarine Khan, is no more in this world. According to the reports, Zarine suffered a cardiac arrest, due to which she passed away. All the big Bollywood celebrities—from the Bachan family to the Kapoor family—Hrithik Roshan himself has reached their homes. There is a silence in the entire family.

Zarine Khan was 81 years old, and on November 7, she suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest due after which she said goodbye to the world forever. The entire family is in shock. Suzzane Khan and Hrithik Roshan were very close. Hritik Roshan was also seen with Zarine Khan, even though the divorce had happened. Hritik Roshan has a very close relationship with the Khan family, and even today, he was the first to reach out to them in this hour of grief, along with the rest of the family.

Zayed Khan and family performed the last rites of Zarine Khan following Hindu cremation traditions, honouring her faith before marriage. Family members and close friends gathered to bid farewell, remembering the late actress with love and respect.
