‘Welcome Back, Desi Girl’: Priyanka Chopra Returns to Cinema as Mandakini in Rajamouli’s Epic ‘GlobeTrotter’
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is playing the character of Mandakini in the film Globetrotter. Priyanka has returned to the cinema after a long gap. Director S.S. Rajamouli released the first look poster of Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Mandakini in the action-adventure film GlobeTrotter on November 12. It depicts Priyanka in a saree holding a gun amid global motifs. The movie features Mahesh Babu in the lead, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and reunites Rajamouli with composer M.M. Keeravani, backed by a budget exceeding $100 million.
On 15 November, the official title and first footage of the film will be disclosed at an event at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, India. Director SS Rajamouli wrote on Twitter, “The woman who redefined Indian Cinema on the global stage. Welcome back, Desi Girl! @priyankachopra Can’t wait for the world to witness your myriad shades of MANDAKINI. #GlobeTrotter.”
