Happy Patel Khatarnak Jasoos is a spy film made by Aamir Khan productions. The film is directed by Vir Das and it will release in January 2026. He dropped the film’s release date in a hilarious video that left fans laughing.
A video was released on Wednesday in which producer Aamir Khan is beating up Vir Das for making a flop spy film in his directorial debut. In the video, he tells Vir Das should stick to stand-up comedy and making a film is not his cup of tea. He added that there is no action or romance in the film. Aamie says that being slapped by a heroine throughout the film is called romance.
Vir Das responds by saying that it is 2025, and some people like domination. They also talk about adding an item song in the movie. To which Vir Das hilariously responds that he chose himself as an item girl for the movie. Aamir Khan asks from which angle he looks like an item girl in the video. He adds that now the door is open and the audience will cuss them out. When Vir Das says that everyone has a flop film like Aamir had Laal Singh Chaddha. Then in the video, Aamir starts beating Vir Das.
Overall, the audience can get ready for a wild ride of comedy, action, romance, and some spy stuff as well. Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, in theatres only from January 16, 2026. The film was disclosed for release in a humorous announcement video, which highlights the films out of the box approach.
