Keanu Reeves is sparking marriage rumours with girlfriend Alexandra Grant. The Matrix actor is clearing the air after rumours began swirling that he and her long-time girlfriend Alexandra Grant, recently tied the knot in a small private ceremony. Keanu’s publicist told E!News in a September 22 statement, “It is not true, they are not married.”

 While the visual artist and John Wick actor, who started dating in 2018, have kept their relationship mostly private, they have given a few peaks into their love story over the years. The action star shared earlier this year how he and Alexandra lean into their more daring sides together. He said, “We have been on a couple of trips together on the motorcycle and we have enjoyed it.”

Keanu has also been open about how their time together during the COVID-19 pandemic brought them closer.” He also said, “It has been really wonderful to be with Alexandra. We enjoy each other’s company, whatever that may be. We have a couple of projects.”

Over the years, Keanu Reeves has given mixed responses to the idea of settling down. It seemed that the actor was once on the verge of starting a family with Jennifer Syme. In 1999, news broke that the couple was expecting their first child. However, they later learned that their baby had been stillborn. After that, the couple split.

Just two years later, Jennifer would die in a car accident. For Keanu, these tragedies have always stayed with him. The actor once said, “Grief and loss, those are things that don’t ever go away. They stay with you.” Fortunately, Reeves seems to be doing better now.
