Bhagwat Chapter One Rakshas is a story about a young girl who disappears, which soon discloses similar cases. Arshad Warsi who portrays the role of Bhagwat investigates the cases and promises the father of the girl that he will find his daughter within 15 days. Bhagwat: Chapter 1 Rakshas is directed by Akshay Shere. The star cast includes Arshad Warsi, Jitendra Kumar, and Ayesha Kaduskar. This crime thriller got released on 17 October 2025.
In Bhagwat, heinous crimes against women are committed by Cyanide Mohan. He lured women and sexually exploits them, and later gives them cyanide in the name of a contraceptive.
The movie is a two-hour seven-minute crime thriller. The film is based on a true incident. It is mind-boggling to see that such kind of people exist who do disgusting things. After the second half, Jitendra Kumar’s smile starts to irritate the viewers, just because the magic of his acting breathes so much life into the character. The audience gets emotionally connected to the character. The serious role played by Arshad Warsi after Asur.
The scenes in the movie keep coming one after the other as the movie moves forward at a fast pace. Though the story is not able to dive deep for instance if someone is a criminal, why does he behave so, or become so perverted.
Overall, Bhagwat Chapter One Rakshas engages the audience through its characters and storyline. It is an excellent Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar (such fun casting) propel a crime thriller that’s familiar (same story as Dahaad) but dares to be different. Rather than a conventional investigation thriller, its framed as a clash of two minds.
