Legal Battle Intensifies: Celina Jaitly Seeks Custody and Protection Amid Violence Allegations
Celina Jaitly said that she was battered by her husband. She has moved to the Mumbai High Court, accusing her husband of domestic violence and cruelty. The actor has filed a domestic violence complaint in a local court alleging that she suffered emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse at the hands of her Austrian husband, Peter Hang. Celina came back to Mumbai in October this year.
Celina Jaitly (born 24 November 1981) is an Indian beauty pageant titleholder and former actress. She mainly worked in Hindi cinema. She married Peter Haag on September 23, 2011. The couple had a quiet court wedding at a 1,000-year-old monastery in Austria. The wedding announcement was delayed due to a family tragedy, and Jaitly shared the news with the public via Twitter the following month, in August 2011. However, the relationship turned sour. The couple have three children together.
The plea has come up for hearing before the judicial magistrate SC Tier, who issued a notice to Peter Hang and posted the matter for hearing on December 12. The application has been filed through Karan Jawala & Co. Law firm, which has accused her husband of domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation under the supervision of the Domestic Violence Act.
Celina’s kids are with Peter Hang in Austria. Her kids Austrian citizens. Celina’s advocate said that they have filed for custody. There is a divorce matter that Peter has initiated in Austria, which she is also fighting. The Austrian court has allowed one hour of telephonic access to Celina to converse with her children every day.
