Ghaati Movie Review: A Raw Tale of Survival and Emotion

The Telugu film Ghaati stars Anushka Shetty as the heroine, Sheelavathi, and Vikram Prabhu as the hero. The director of the movie Ghaati is Krish Jagarlamudi. The producers are Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi. The film was released on 5 September 2025.

With the immense mass appeal that Anushka Garu commands, she rightfully earned the title of ‘Queen.’ Truly, Queen Anushka is the title she deserves.

There was decent occupancy for the movie due to Anushka, who has been out of the public eye. Although Anushka is a powerhouse performer, her screen presence was lacking in the movie. She could add more life to her role. The film was made in beautiful locations.

It cannot be called an above-average movie. The first half is predictable as it progresses. So, it cannot be called extraordinary. There is a unique interval scene that captivates the audience. The first builds the story, but the audience feels that it could be more impactful.

The second half of the movie gains momentum, capturing the true spirit of women-centric cinema. The first twenty minutes of the second half deliver a perfect setup, with the elevation sequences giving audiences true goosebumps. Then, it might give a feeling of excessive melodrama. The film subtly inspires, leaving audiences with a sense of motivation. The well-crafted climax stands out as one of the film’s highlights.

The movie’s producers consider it a profitable venture. The film has been very good at OTT prices. Some viewers said that the film is predictable with no high moments. They say that it has an elevation-based character, a hero-based film, or a female version of Pushpa. Unfortunately, the movie ends unexpectedly.
