Humane Sagar Passes Away: The Voice of Odisha Falls Silent, Legacy Lives On

Odia Singer Humane Sagar passes away. He was admitted to AIIMS hospital in Bhubaneshwar. He was 34. He breathed his last on November 17, 2025. He died of pneumonia and multiple organ failure.

Humane was under intensive treatment for under 72 hours. Doctors monitored him with advanced life support. But there was no improvement in his condition.

Humane Sagar was placed on high-capacity ventilator support. Family, fans, and the music fraternity mourn his loss. He was born in a musically gifted family as both his father and grandfather were music directors. His melodious voice earned him respect and he won Tarang TV’s ‘Voice of Odisha Season-2” n 2012. He made his entry into the Ollywood industry in 2015 with the film “Ishq Tu Hi Tu”. The movie became a hit, and Humane also gained fame through it.

He also made a Hindi Album “Mera Yeh Jahan”. He worked on various Odia music albums like “Tuma Otha Tale”, ‘Niswasa’, ‘Bekhudee’, and ‘Chehera’ in 2017. Humane is married to Shriya Mishra in 2017, his fellow participant in the show Voice of Odisha Season 2. They have a daughter.

Humane sang many popular songs like Dhire Dhire Bhala Pai Gali(2015), Sun Zara (2016), Na Re Na (2016), Jebe Ichha Dekhi Paru (2017), Kete Bhala Paye Male (2017), Chipudi Delu Dil Ta (2018), and Kerkeraa (2025).

Sagar joined politics for Biju Janata Dal (BJD), a political party of the Indian state of Odisha on 3 March 2019.

Humane Sagar’s voice touched countless lives. It was a voice filled with emotion, pain, love, and raw truth. Today we lost him, but the music he left behind will never die.
