Social Media Star Orry Called for Questioning as Drug Probe Expands to Bollywood Circle
In a shocking development, popular social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has been summoned by the Mumbai police for questioning in connection with a Rs 252 drug seizure case. Sources confirm Orry has been directed to appear before the Ghatkopar unit of the anti-narcotic cell ANC tomorrow, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10.00 am.
Orry is famous for being a socialite who is frequently photographed with Bollywood stars and other celebrities, making him a social media sensation.
The move comes days after authorities took custody of key accused Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, an alleged drug trafficker deported from Dubai last month and now in custody. During interrogation, Shaikh reportedly confessed to organizing high-profile drug parties in India and abroad, personally supplying narcotics at music events. The accused named several celebrities as participants, including Norah Fateh, Shraddha Kapoor, and her brother Siddhant Kapoor, Politician Zeeshan Ziauddin Siddique, filmmaker duo Abbas Mastan, rapper Loka, and others.
The case stems from a major July joint operation by Mumbai and Mysuru Police that busted a clandestine MD manufacturing unit, seizing drugs worth over 300 crores street value.
