Priya Marathe passed on 31st August at the age of 38. She was battling cancer. Priya took her last breath at her residence in Mira Road. She played a role in Pavitra Rishta.

Priya got married to Shantanu Moghe in 2012. She leaves her family and her fans in mourning. Shantanu Moghe is known for his performances in Marathi films and television shows. He had worked together with his wife in ‘Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji’. They both loved travelling and even shared their pictures on social media.

Priya Marathe started working in Hindi television with the serial ‘Kasamh Se’. But she received recognition from critics for her performance as Varsha in the popular serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
