Raat Akeli Hai The Bansal Murders has come up with a new story and a new case. This movie is a suspense thriller and it’s a little over 2 hours long. A half an hour in the movie is spent on creating tension and the real game of the film is hidden in the last half an hour.
Raat Akeli Hai The Bansal Murders is a story about a rich family who have taken refuge in Guru Mata. The family is devoted to their guru. There is a police jeep outside their house and Bansal family is no longer alive. The entire family is dead in just one dreadful night. It’s reference is similar to Burari case. The entire story changes when inspector Jatil Yadav enters the film. He cleverly turns the witchcraft case into a murder mystery. Everyone has been brutally beaten and cut with a cloth covering their face. However, the daughter-in-law of the family is still alive. She has blood on his face but it belongs to someone else.
Overall, Nawazuddin Siddiqui delivers a great performance in Raat Akeli Hai The Bansal Murders. His character Jatil Yadav takes the road to discover the truth, defeating all the complexities. Radhika Apte has a small role. The start of the film is interesting, but the storyline could have been better.
