Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru have tied the knot. A media house confirmed that the wedding took place on Monday morning at the Link Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Center. The ceremony was an intimate affair attended by just 30 guests.

Samantha was looking stunning in a red saree for the occasion. Speculation about the wedding had begun surfacing late Sunday night. Fans were curious if the couple was headed for the altar. Especially after Raja’s ex-wife, Shyamali De posted a cryptic quote on Instagram Stories stating, “Desperate People Do Desperate Things,” which raised eyebrows across social media. Samantha and Raj’s closeness has been the subject of speculation since early 2024.

Over the past year Samantha shared several pictures with Raj on her social media, fuelling rumours of their growing bond.

Shhyamali De caught attention with her another post just days earlier. She shared a reflective message about past depth writing through the bond of past partners. “One becomes connected with pets, spouse, children, and home. While those karmic depths are exhausted, those relationships come to an end with them, the associated joys and sorrows seize.” The timing of these posts only added to the curiosity and speculation online. Shhyamali De and Raj divorced in 2022. Samantha was previously married to Naga Chaitanya.

The couple separated four years after their wedding.

While the wedding had taken place, neither Samantha nor Raj Nidimoru has publicly commented on the ceremony.
