From Junior Artist to Comedy Icon: Robo Shankar’s Journey Ends at 46.

              Robo Shankar, who was a Tamil film actor and comedian, passed away today. He was 46 years old. He was admitted to a private hospital in Perungudi, Chennai. He died at 8:00 p.m. on September 18.

               Robo Shankar was admitted to the hospital after he suddenly fainted during the shooting of his new film. He was reportedly dehydrated and had low blood pressure. Doctors continued to treat him. He was transferred to the intensive care unit due to the deterioration in his health.

           Robshankar began his film career in the late 90s as a supporting actor. He started as a junior artist and later got his breakthrough with a small-screen comedy show. Even now, if we think of Robo Shankar, the first thing that comes to mind is his participation in a comedy show that aired on private television. The skits he performed at that time made the guests laugh. His acting skills have a place in the minds of the audience that will never be erased.

                   It would not be an exaggeration to say that he later emerged as a renowned comedian in the same film industry in which he was a junior artist, and rose to prominence as a comedian through the fame he gained in a small role. It is a testament to his talent. He often performed his robot-like act on the stage, because of which he was nicknamed Robo Shankar.

             That name continued to come up throughout his film career. Robo Shankar, who had a place in the hearts of millions of people, is now gone.

                He appeared in a very comical role in the film Maari, starring Dhanush, which was released in popular cinema films. He also acted in a film named ‘Mannar Vagaiyara’ starring Vimal. He was an excellent orator, a skill clearly reflected in his public speeches.

         Robo Shankar leaves behind not just a body of work in film and television but a legacy of laughter, dedication, and humility. The art world has lost a bright star, but his contribution will be cherished for generations.
