Salman Khan Responds to Abhinav Kashyap’s Allegations on Weekend Ka Vaar
The latest Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 19, Salman Khan, talked about the controversy related to Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap. He addressed it with an honest approach and quick wit. Salman did not name the director but clearly hinted at the comments made by the director about him and his family.
Salman Khan also added that the director has talked about Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. He expressed that by talking ill of others, the person is harming his own career. He said that Abhinav, who was praised for his writing skills, has now spoiled his own image. The superstar said that Abhinav should focus his energy on his family and take care of them rather than target others on social media.
Salman Khan’s film Dabangg was released in 2010, directed by Abhinav Kashyap. In the movie, Salman Khan was seen as Chulbul Pandey, a cop who is both sweet and Dabangg. A movie that was made on a budget of Rs 30 crores made more than Rs 200 crores. Later, three parts of the film were made, and it became Salman Khan’s biggest iconic role of his career. However, behind the scenes, things were complicated. There were fights between its director Abhinav Kashyap and Salman Khan.
After this clash, Abhinav Kashyap did not make Dabangg2. Arbaaz Khan had to take the responsibility of part 2. Arbaaz Khan said on social media that ten days later, he got a long SMS stating why he is not keen on doing the film. Fifteen years after the release of Dabangg one Abhinav Kashyap gives an interview that left the entire industry in awe.
Salman Khan addressed Abhinav Kashyap’s allegation on Bigg Boss 19. He said, “They lie and talk nonsense. They do this because they have no work. So, my request to them all is to do some work.” He also stated that the director is speaking ill of others. Salman highlighted how, after rejecting a film, Abhinav has turned bitter.
Finally, Salman Khan said that he bows every day before God, and not before any person. The audience broke into applause at the line.
