Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Fun Ride of Love, Drama, and Confusion

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a romantic comedy film written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions. The star cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Suresh Saraf, and others. The movie was released on 2 October 2025.

Viewers get to see a little romance and comedy in the film. The movie is not such that you will split your sides with laughter. The movie captures an undercurrent of tension between certain characters. At the beginning of the story, Sanya Malhotra’s character meets Varun Dhawan’s character, whose name is Sunny. She dumps him because she is going to marry Rohit Saraf. Rohit Saraf (Vikram), who had a 7-year-old relationship with Janhvi Kapoor (Tulsi Kumari), ends.

Varun Dhawan (Sunny) and Janhvi Kapoor (Tulsi) both get dumped and enter together. They pretend to be very close so that their exes, who are getting together, become jealous and return to them. However, Sunny starts to feel that he might actually like Tulsi, with whom he was only pretending to be in a relationship. Now he is confused about whom he should choose.

The trailer gives a glimpse into the movie’s storyline and characters. The movie is about 2 hours and 15 minutes long. The same story continues during the interval and even after the interval. A special mention goes to Abhinav Sharma for his impressive performance as Varun Dhawan’s friend in the movie. The movie picks up in the last 15 minutes.
