Ayushmann & Rashmika’s Romantic Horror Hit ‘Thamma’ Arrives on OTT — Rental Out Now, Full Release on Dec 16
Thamma movie is one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, will be released on OTT in two phases. OTT Rental early access was out on December 2, 2025. The full OTT release is on December 16, 2025. It will be released on Amazon Prime Video. It is now streaming on Prime Store for Rent.
The star cast of Thamma includes Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. Thamma is a romantic horror comedy film which is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film has crossed ₹200 Crore Worldwide.
Now, fans have a chance to catch the much-awaited title from home. Amazon Prime Video has now acquired the rights to major movies. Thamma was released on October 21, 2025. So first, the movie is released on a rental basis, that is, video on demand. Other viewers can wait for two more weeks to watch this movie with a subscription on OTT.
The movie is the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. It is a story about vampire-like creatures. It has themes of love, humanity, and conflicts related to the Partition of India in 1947.
