Aryan Khan’s directional debut, ‘The Bads of Bollywood’, officially starts his career. Aryan Khan has written and directed this show, and he is also the show’s owner. There are seven episodes in this series. The opening episode runs for over 50 minutes, while the subsequent ones range between 40 to 45 minutes each. The Bads of Bollywood is out now on Netflix at 12.30 pm on 18 September.
The series features Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Bedi, Manish Chaudhari, Arshad Warsi, Vijayant Kohli, and Rohit Gill.
The story is about an outsider named ‘Aasmaan’, who has come from Delhi to Mumbai to become a star. His first movie has already become a hit. The film portrays how Bollywood actually works and the politics behind it. It showcases what goes on in an actor’s life. The Bads of Bollywood has seven episodes. The first half is sure to captivate viewers as it uncovers the hidden world of Bollywood—its connection with drugs and the intriguing behavior of critics.
It also highlights the legal claims of the production houses. The second half may not feel as engaging as the first due to its repetitive nature, but the final episode delivers an intriguing twist that keeps the audience hooked.
The dialogues are well-crafted and engaging. The comedy flavour has been added insightfully. Lakshya takes the lead in the show, making a powerful entry in his killer avatar. He has shown emotions in the movie in an impactful way. Raghav Juyal has played the role of a friend and a brother with his hilarious comedy.
Bobby Deol’s role is also quite impressive. Rajat Bedi, who has come on the screen after a long time, is magnificently portraying his own character. Manoj Pahwa has added emotion to the story through his character.
