The Devil Movie Review: Darshan Shines in a Gripping Kannada Action Thriller

The Devil is an action thriller Kannada film, which is directed by Prakash Veer. The movie was released in theatres on December 11, 2025. The star in the lead role is Darshan Thoogudeepa. The other actors in the film are Rachana Rai, Mahesh Manjrekar, Achyuth Kumar, and Sharmiela Mandre.

In the movie, there is a person named Rajashekhar who is the CM, and he has a problem. His son Devil has to solve the problem, and he is Dhanush. The interval of the movie gives a good lead to the second half. The conflict built by the devil in Krishna’s character worked. The dialogues in the second half are also good. Achyut’s character has helped the movie; the story travels along with it. The movie doesn’t cheat Darshan’s fans. Some dialogues are very relatable.

Darshan’s The Devil storms theatres with massive hype, record bookings, explosive action, and unstoppable fan power across Karnataka. Darshan has acted the devil’s character very well.
