The Taj Story Trailer: Paresh Rawal Questions the True History of the Taj Mahal
The Taj Story trailer was released on 16 October. In it, Paresh Rawal plays the role of a tourist guide. The Taj Story is written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel, and produced by CA Suresh Jha. The movie showcases a courtroom drama battle stating that the Taj Mahal was a Hindu temple. The movie is set to release on 31 October, 2025.
The movie is made, which is based on the book written by Purushottam Nageshok. When you make a movie about History, there are facts behind it, and this movie is discussed based on logic.
The question asked by Paresh Rawal was whether Shah Jahan really built the Taj Mahal. The film is going to tell us real stories and the fascinating stories behind them. There is dialogue of Paresh Rawal in which he says, “I have never seen such a tomb which has a dome on top and an urn on the dome. Get Taj Mahal’s DNA done.”
Paresh Rawal, who plays the role of a guide in the movie, has many questions in his mind that arise out of logic. The question, “What is an urn doing on top of the dome?” is a logical question. Then, in the movie, Paresh, as a guide is told to get his DNA test done.
The movie raises doubts about History of Taj Mahal. In May 2022, the Allahabad High Court dismissed a petition seeking a “facts finding committee to study and publish the real History of Taj Mahal” and a “direction…to open the sealed doors (approx. 22 rooms) inside the Taj Mahal to rest to the controversy”.
Justices Subhash Vidyarthi and Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya said that the issues raised should be left for academicians and scholars to debate.
Overall, every frame in the movie raises a question. This film isn’t just cinema, it’s a revelation.
